Susan S. Miller is a seasoned trial attorney in both the civil and administrative courts, with over 20 years of trial experience. She currently represents severely injured persons in both medical malpractice and personal injury.

Before practicing law, Attorney Miller worked for multiple insurance companies over the course of 12 years as a claims litigation adjuster. Following that, she practiced as an insurance defense attorney for 8 years. Her unique experience handling both Plaintiff and Defense work as an attorney and adjuster, has proven to be very useful in both resolving and trying cases. Attorney Miller also has extensive experience handling both arbitrations and mediations for her clients.

While working as an insurance defense attorney, Attorney Miller volunteered in the Bristol County District Court overseeing case management and pre-trial conferences, and engaging parties in settlement discussions.

Attorney Miller also represented clients applying for social security disability for 10 years. She has appeared at over 100 hearings and was very successful in advocating for her clients.

A 1987 graduate of the Boston University School of Law, Attorney Miller was awarded best speaker in the Edward C. Stone Appellate Moot Court Team Competition; she also participated in the Massachusetts Superior Court Judicial Internship and was a Staff Writer for the law school newspaper, The Comment.

Attorney Miller is currently the Vice President of the Ultimate Success Chapter of Business Networking International, holding the Medical Malpractice seat. She is also a member of Networking Group USA, Massachusetts Association of Trial Attorneys, and a longtime Notary Public.

Attorney Miller is actively involved with her local Temple and was recently appointed to the Board of Directors. She is a longtime member of the Southeastern Massachusetts Festival Chorus and Taunton Civic Chorus, where she formerly held the seat as Vice President of the Board of Directors. While on the Board, she was successfully able to reinstate the 501C3 non-profit status for the organization, and also assisted in writing the current By Laws as well as the contracts for the Music Director and Accompanist. Attorney Miller is a member in good standing of the Massachusetts Bar, and is also admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals, 1st Circuit and Federal District Court, 1st Circuit.
